I'm committing, and trying so hard to pray Bible verses over my children, spouse, family and friends this year. Although, I've failed a little, I really want to improve my prayer life and communication with God.

I currently have bibles for my 3 girls that I plan to give them, when they graduate HS, and I wanted the Bible's to be filled with encouragement and prayer for them. I have been printing designs off, laminating the little card, writing a prayer on it and putting it in their Bible.

I also try to pray the verse with them a couple times a week, so they can learn to pray, as well. Let me know any good verses or any thoughts if you have them!

This is such a popular verse, but also such a good one.

I think we can all agree we want nothing more than God's:

  • protection

  • blessing

  • for our actions to be pleasing to him so much so that he smiles upon us giving us his favor and peace.

Not only do we want this for us, but our children, spouses, family and friends.

So this week I want to pray: (myself, my spouse, children, family and friends)

  • Thank him for his unending grace and mercy in our lives

  • Thanking him for everything good in our lives and acknowledgment that it is all from him

  • I want to pray that he sends his angel armies ahead of us to keeping us out of harms way

  • Prayers for health

  • For His blessing

  • Our actions are pleasing to God, and that he will continue to guide us and we will be better listeners to his nudges

  • His peace will fill us admit our busy and chaotic lives
