As a person who used to find all her worth, validation and happiness in pleasing others-which lead to an exhausting life-I'm here to tell you-
🌎The world is cruel.
💰What we are told is important, actually isn't. And the things we think will bring us happiness, never do.
👩🏼🦱👱🏼♀️👩🏻👧🏻Not everyone will like you...and that's ok, be kind to them anyways, and never stoop to their levels, and when you do, say you're sorry
🎀boundaries are good, you aren't called to roll over for people, but you are expected to stand up for yourself with strong and confident words, yet still understanding they have feelings too and you don't want them to feel the way that they made you feel, will get your point across much better
💞you won't be invited to everything and that's ok, it doesn't mean that you aren't worthy, maybe God was saving you from something, find the peace in the quiet and stagnant moments of life
✨remember how peoples actions make you feel, and try to never be the reason someone feels that way
🔥God made you the you, you are RIGHT now. He didn't want you to be like that other girl, the people on social media, NFL players etc. Find your confidence in God &who you were made to be & in that you will find peace.
🖤there is more joy in uplifting &encouraging others than there ever will be in tearing them down
👑gossiping will never make you feel good
🐨learn to be genuinely happy for others when they succeed. We are all on our own paths, given different strengths. Jealously only hurts you.
🍭in moments of hurt, anger, sadness-talk to God FIRST...he WILL help you navigate it correctly
🎂you can be confident in any situation when you remember you are the Daughter of a King, & no one gets to decide who or what you are,but him-& to him you are exactly who you need to be so put your head up and lead with love
And most of all, know, it's not easy. We all fail, daily, but God doesn't ever fail, so when you do, just run to him, he's already waiting for you!
